That flexibility became clear again recently. The Ice Club still had a number of sports shirts left from previous deliveries. However, these shirts only featured the Ice Club logo on the left chest. Over the years, more sponsors joined, which meant that new shirts were standardly printed with both the Ice Club logo and sponsor logos on the front.

Debby Kloos explains:

“We still had several sports shirts left from previous deliveries that only featured the Ice Club logo on the left chest. Over the years, more sponsors joined, and we always have them printed on the front of the new shirts. Since these sponsors were not displayed on the ‘old’ shirts, they were basically no longer usable. The proposal came to include these shirts in a new order. They covered the existing logo so the old shirts received the same print as the new shirts. And that was even provided as a complimentary service.”

According to Debby, that is exactly why the collaboration works so well.

“That makes us happy. Especially nowadays, it would be a shame not to use good-quality textiles.”

“The sports shirts can be printed using direct screen printing or DTF transfers. For this order, direct screen printing was chosen. The advantages are: durability and wash resistance because the ink penetrates directly into the textile fibers, greater wear resistance, screen printing is more breathable, which is important for sports shirts, and printing costs are lower, especially for larger quantities (from 50 pieces onwards).
